Æglageret in Holbæk
Æglageret in Holbæk is a well-known and vibrant cultural and art exhibition space, which is housed in a distinctive, historic building on Lindevej.
History and Frameworks
The building was originally built in 1921 by Dansk Andels Ægeksport and for many years served as a warehouse where local eggs were collected, sorted and prepared for export. Since the 1980s, the atmospheric rooms have been the setting for changing art exhibitions.
Today, the exhibitions are run by Holbæk Kunstforening, and it functions as a non-profit exhibition space with a focus on both recognized and emerging talents in painting, sculpture, ceramics, crafts and design.
