Folding chair made of birch

Chair made of moulded birch. The chair is an experiment, and therefore by no means a finished piece of furniture. The chair is dynamic: When you lean forward or backward, the chair adapts to your sitting position. The two elements are not hinged to each other; they are only connected by four cords, two above and two below the seat.

Folding chair made of pitch pine does not fold in and of itself, but separates into two elements, as the backrests are inserted through holes in the seat bolsters. The backrest is made of removable linen canvas, while the seat consists of stretched flagline with a leather cushion.
