Lounge chair

The seat and back are made from two completely flat sheets of plywood of Oregon Pine. The two parts are sewn together with a nylon cord. When the two planes unfold, they curve to form a comfortable, springy seat. The base consists of 4 bent steel rods that are loosely assembled with drilled "steel dowels". The frame and seat/back are joined by 4 O-rings around the steel rods through the cut-outs in the seat and back.

The chair is shipped as a flat package and is easily assembled by pulling the rubber rings through the cut-outs with a crochet hook.
